Gardner H. Palmer
Gardner "Chip" Palmer concentrates his practice in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on business litigation, employment litigation and construction litigation.
He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, U.S. District Court of Rhode Island, and United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and has appeared before numerous administrative agencies. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers College in 1979 and earned his law degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University in 1987, where he served as Executive Editor of the Transnational Law Journal. Chip is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and recently presented a seminar on financial expert testimony.
He serves as Vice Chairman of the North Kingstown Planning Board and has been active in leadership capacities on the town’s Zoning Board and Affordable Housing Task Force. He was appointed by the League of Cities and Towns to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Affordable Housing. He is also active in the North Kingstown American Little League program as Vice President, and has been a coach and designated safety officer.
