James G. Atchison
Jim Atchison is a 2007 graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law, cum laude, where he received several honors including the CALI award for the highest grade in civil procedure. While in law school, he served as a research assistant for Professor Robert B. Kent, a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law, where he assisted with the revised edition of his book entitled Rhode Island Practice.
He also served as a Judicial Extern for Associate Justice Michael A. Silverstein at the Providence County Superior Court and as a Legal Intern in the Civil Litigation Division of the Rhode Island Department of the Attorney General. He is admitted to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Jim received a Bachelor of Arts in political science in December of 2003 from the University of Rhode Island where he was on the Dean’s list.
